JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) We have a very hot weekend ahead and some in our area found themselves enjoying the weather outside today instead of being stuck in the office. Local parks and swimming pools were full of people trying to enjoy the heat while staying hydrated.

Cambria County officials react to five county employees receiving "very large yearend bonuses"

Cambria County controller Ed Cernic Jr. said about $70,000 went to five county employees at the end of last year. The people are getting the stipends in large part because of the additional work they did after former chief clerk Michael Gelles died in April last year. The county is still without a chief clerk.

Penn State announces plans for fall semester's end
