ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) An Altoona woman is facing charges after police say a heated argument on Christmas ended with a man accidentally stabbing himself in the neck. According to a criminal complaint, Altoona police were dispatched to the 400 block of Cherry Avenue Christmas night after a man was stabbed in the neck.

Ex-Duquesne basketball player ordered to trial in rape case

PITTSBURGH -- A former Duquesne University basketball player has been ordered to stand trial on charges of raping a University of Pittsburgh student in his dorm room last fall. Nineteen-year-old Nick Washington was held for trial Wednesday in Allegheny County on four felony counts and one misdemeanor.
